Step 1:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil, then place a wire rack on top.

Step 2:
- In a mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, red pepper flakes, black pepper, and cayenne. Mix until evenly blended.

Step 3:
- Arrange the bacon slices on the wire rack in a single layer. Make sure they do not overlap.

Step 4:
- Evenly coat each slice of bacon with the sugar mixture. Gently press the mixture onto the bacon so it sticks well.

Step 5:
- Place the tray in the oven and bake for 30–40 minutes, until the bacon becomes caramelized and crispy. Keep an eye on it during the last few minutes to avoid burning.

Step 6:
- Remove the bacon from the oven and let it rest for 5–10 minutes. This allows the glaze to set properly.

Step 7:
- Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes
- Thick-cut bacon works best for texture and flavor.
- Avoid overcrowding to ensure even crisping.
- Keep a close eye during the final minutes to prevent burning.
- Let the bacon cool slightly so the glaze can firm up properly.
